These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the POLUSON mobile application (“POLUSON”, the “App”). By using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. About POLUSON
POLUSON is an ambient sound and relaxation application that lets users play and combine sounds, adjust volumes, use presets and timers, save mixes, and use other relaxation-related features.
2. Eligibility
POLUSON is intended for users aged 18 and older. By using the App, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old.
3. No Medical Advice
POLUSON is provided for relaxation, ambient sound, meditation, and sleep-support purposes. It is not a medical device and does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Do not use the App as a substitute for professional medical care.
4. Free and Full Access Features
The App may contain both free features and features available through Full Access. The features included in each access level may change as the App evolves.
POLUSON may offer an optional rewarded advertisement that temporarily unlocks Full Access for a stated period, currently 24 hours. Availability of rewarded advertisements is not guaranteed and may depend on factors such as device, region, network connection, consent choices, and advertising inventory.
5. Purchases
POLUSON may offer a one-time purchase for Full Access through the applicable app store. If purchasing is available, payment, billing, refunds, and related transaction processing are handled by the app store and are also subject to its terms and policies. The price and exact benefits shown in the App or store at the time of purchase apply to that transaction.
6. Advertising
The App may display optional rewarded advertising provided by third-party advertising services. Depending on your choices and applicable requirements, advertising may be personalized or contextual/non-personalized. Advertising availability and content are controlled in part by third-party providers.
7. Saved and Shared Mixes
POLUSON may allow you to save sound mixes locally and share mix configurations with others. A shared mix may contain information such as the mix name, sound identifiers, and volume settings. Receiving or importing a shared mix does not grant paid or Full Access features that the recipient is not otherwise entitled to use.
You are responsible for the names you assign to mixes and for content you choose to share with others.
8. Accounts and Availability
POLUSON does not currently require a user account for its core functionality. Some information and preferences may be stored locally on your device.
We may modify, update, suspend, or discontinue features of the App when reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, security, technical, legal, or product-development reasons. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Acceptable Use
You may use POLUSON only in compliance with applicable law. You must not misuse the App, attempt to interfere with its operation or security, reverse engineer it except where applicable law expressly permits that activity, or use it in a way that infringes the rights of others.
10. Intellectual Property
POLUSON and its software, design, branding, and other App content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except for rights expressly granted to you under these Terms or applicable law, all rights are reserved.
11. Privacy
Your use of POLUSON is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which explains how information is handled in connection with the App.
12. Third-Party Services
POLUSON may rely on third-party services for functions such as analytics, crash reporting, advertising, and app-store transactions. Those services may be governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
13. Disclaimer
To the extent permitted by applicable law, POLUSON is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not promise that every feature will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or similar damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion or limitation is prohibited by law or affects mandatory consumer rights.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date on this page. Where required by applicable law, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent.
